Subject: Front-End Web Development

General Description: Front-end web developers create everything that the product user interacts with on a webpage. They primarily code work in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and usually work with a web designer who plans they layout of the webpage and tells them want they want the site to look like. In addition to creating websites for professional clients, a lot of front-end developers also work as consultants for people who want to create their own webpages, guiding them along to create their own unique product.
Hours & Conditions: Most front-end developers are hired on contracts, so work hours are pretty varied. Usually pretty relaxed hours with a few weeks of hectic activity every few months. A starting salary is $70,000 to $80,000.
Work Locations: Anywhere, but Launch Brigade operates out of Santa Cruz, and there are many tech companies in Silicon Valley looking to hire developers.
Pros & Cons: You can work from just about anywhere. High salary. Having to explain to clients the technical aspects of the job, can be tedious.
